I have Dragon Naturally Speaking Premium 13.0 and I are thinking about upgrading it to the new Dragon Professional Individual
My question is how much more accurate is Dragon Professional Individual compared with what I have does anybody know
And another question is will they be bringing out an app for windows 10 phones

I have attempted to use both the original headset and Mic that came with DNS Home 13 as well as a highly recommended headset and mic combo (KOSS C100) and neither will connect to Dragon. I haven't even been able to get passed the initial set up! Please tell me what I am doing wrong? I am stuck on the "microphone test" stage.

One of our users has been using Windows Calculator (calc.exe) to add lists of numbers and to do other minor mathematical calculations. Until last Tuesday, she has been able to dictate numbers into Dragon in the following manner:
She would say, "seventeen thousand three hundred twelve" and get 17,312 entered into the calculator window.
Now, the number, 17.312 (decimal not comma) is being entered into the calculator.
If she says, "one seven three one two" she gets 17312 (no comma).
If she dictates in the original manner into any other application (Word, Dragon Pad, etc.), the number is formatted according to the rules set in her profile options.
Any thoughts?

I tried to formally do a feature request but it does not work. I am logged in, and when I click on feature request the window appears for a nanosecond and then it switches me to the for him.
I really need Dragon NaturallySpeaking to work with Microsoft Lync, especially in the chat window. I use Dragon NaturallySpeaking all day to do my job and Microsoft Lync has just been rolled out on all of our desktops. I have to use both I have no other choice. Work is conducted all day long on Lync and I will be unable to perform my job.
Please figure out a way for us to be able to use voice recognition in Microsoft Lync chat windows .

I recently updated my laptop from Windows 8 to Windows 10, and now DNS 13 will not dictate text. The program opens, the DragonBar shows that it recognizes the cursor is in a field where it should dictate text, but when I speak, it simply says, "Please say that again." The program worked great in Windows 8, and I have changed nothing except upgrading to Windows 10. I have also un-installed DNS 13 and re-installed it while running Windows 10, and the problem is still there. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I formerly used Dragon NaturallySpeaking on a multi-core PC. I've now moved to using Parallels on a MacBook Pro. It's a great product, but the Parallels virtual machine is recommended to use only one core and I have it set up like that.
So each time I start NaturallySpeaking it complains that the profile was designed for multi-core and won't work as well with a single core processor.
How do I convert the profile to suit single core working?

Is there a way to get dragon nat speak 13 to type hesitation noises like, Um, Uh etc.... It seems to be ignoring them but I need the software to type explicitly what it hears?

I was training someone on how to use dragon for the first time and to begin i knew it wasn't going to be simple. i started the training and i went through the tutorial and i read the block of text to get the software to recognize my voice. i then started to dictate a document in Microsoft word and the software wouldn't understand me. i was trying to correct a word and any time i said Chose 2 it kept typing 2.
i then tried to train the different word that i could think of that would sound similar to and including choose and i trained the numbers but it still wouldn't work.
How could i resolve this problem?

I've been an avid DNS 12 Home user. Fantastic. Had it for years. Decided to upgrade to premium to take advantage of the bluetooth headset capabilities. Bought the Logitech H600. Fantastic.
I uninstall 12 Home completely from my computer. Clean up residual files. Even delete my profile. Wanted to really start anew for several reasons.
I install all bluetooth headset. Run a couple of tests - I can hear out my headset and a couple of mic tests show that it can hear my speech. Fantastic. I know how finnicky DNS is, so I wanted everything to be streamlined. I even ran Windows update and a virus scan before installing the program. Cool. Pop the CD in and start the installation process.
I create a profile and select "USB" headset, so it can start the dictation process.
Start installing 12 Premium, created my profile. Then I get this notification on my computer "Error Inputdataset". I attached a photo on this post. I've no idea what this means. I sighed, and googled a few things. Nothing comes up. I search this forum. Nothing comes up.
I reinstall a couple of times.
First creating a profile and selecting "Mic In Jack". I still get this error.
I reinstall again. Select "USB" again, hopefully it will be different this time? Nope, still get this error.
I reinstall again. Select "Bluetooth headset". Got this error again.
Now I popped in my CD once more and doing a "repair" install as we speak. I am at my wit's end. Someone, please help me. What in the world does "Error InputDataset" mean? ugh

I'm really hoping someone will be able to help me with this!
I am trying to do some qualitative analysis using excel 2010 and Dragon naturally speaking 13. As part of this I need to be able to edit lengthy text within individual Excel cells. Unfortunately if I have entered some text using the speech recognition software and click off that individual cell when I try to come back to its and put the cursor within some of the text string Dragon will not allow me edit the text. It will only allow me to completely overwrite the entire cell.

I got a new computer (PC), and am trying to install Dragon Naturally Speaking 13 on the new machine.
I insert the CD and the Exe install command comes up and I put in my serial number and it starts whirring, but eventually the update status get about half green and then says, "The device is not ready."
I exit the program, and it says computer has not been modified. I've tried it three times, and it's the same each time.
How do I troubleshoot this?

Hi having big problems trying to save my user file as it's always showing the message below every time. The problem's still there even after restarting, but have no idea how to reinstall again as I downloaded it from the Nuance website so no DVD....
Also I'm unable to exit from Dragon as the red icon keeps going back to green ?

I am going to be running Dragon NaturallySpeaking on a Mac using Parallels (or perhaps VMware Fusion). Is there a reason I need to or it would be better to buy the Pro version of Windows 10 rather than the Home version? Thank you for any advice.

I am trying to move my DNS software (ver 10.10) to a new computer. My old computer is just about ready to blow any day now.
I understand how to move my profile and such, but my problem is actually installing DNS on the new computer, as I can't find the CD I used to install it originally.
Is it possible to download DNS 10 online and just activate it with my serial number?

I have called Nuance a couple of times to determine the answer to this question, but I have receved different answers. I purchased DNS 12.5 Premium about a month ago. I have it installed on my desktop at home. However, I have two other computers I would like to use it on, my work laptop and my work desktop. The same person, me, will be utilizing DNS on these computers. How many computers am I able to instal DNS on? I have heard 2, 3 & 5. I want to ensure I am following the licensing laws/rules around DNS.

Running DNS Premium 13 on Win 8.1 64 bit. All of a sudden my DragonBar, which I normally have docked at the bottom of the screen, now appears in the "new" mode, and is stuck there. On the DragonBar itself the drop-down options for Classic DragonBar and Tray Only Icon are grayed out. In the options menu, the radio button is still selected for "dock to bottom." Frustratingly, trying to change it to any of the other selections by either clicking apply or simply okay does not work. I'd love to know how to get my bottom-docked bar back, because I hate this new thing floating up at the top, and the customary two ways of doing so are inexplicably inoperative.
Note that I have changed nothing in my machine's configuration, software, etc. This strange behavior of DNS just started all by itself.

just installed 11, up dated to 11.5. Used it in the game of world of tank, worked fine but made the game do weird things turned it off, went back and played the game. Next-day went to turn on Dragon,and when it loaded error code came up should not be run in elevated mode. So I uninstalled it reinstalled it. Same problem,got on the form. Found a uninstall tool to make sure I got it all out. Reinstall same problem. Hope someone out there can help me. Thanks

I have a doctor who is using Dragon Medical Practice Edition v2. When he is dictating into notes, it only processes six words at a time, then he needs to stop in order for it to process. Has this issue been seen before?
