Hi, A recent Office 365 glitch crashed my Windows 7 computer, but with the help of Microsoft I was able to uninstall and reinstall the program. However, the DNS add-in disappeared. Not disabled, just disappeared. MS couldn't help me with a third-party add-in. And I was unable to add it in manually. Is there some way to do this? I'm using DNS 12 Professional and now Word, etc., 2016. I'd be grateful if anybody has any ideas.

Can anyone please help with the following:
1 Dragon always spells Limited as Ltd which is not correct for UK English where most companies' names end Limited. How can I make Limited the default spelling?
2 I would like to be able to say et cetera and see"etc." Is this possible?
3 I am frequently dictating references to companies which have three or four initials. Sometimes Dragon spells correctly and sometimes not. What is the best way of dictating three or four capitals following each other without spaces in between please?

Over the past couple of months, a few of my clients have started having trouble with Dragon Version 2.0
(12.53.350.033)
-- It's repeating letters or periods.
For example, if I dictate "mask," it will type mmask, or if I dictate, "he came home." it will type "home.." with 2 periods at the end of the word.
Talked with Dragon support multiple times and they have been little help. I understand that Dragon was not built to integrate with the EMR i use, PRACTICE FUSION, however every other version of dragon works without any problem. so it must be related to Dragon 2.0.
Here are a few steps i have taken, below
- Switched browsers. still double letters.
- Switched computers to see if it was a computer problem. problem still occurs.
- Reverted to an older version of windows. didn't fix anything.
- Rolled back the Dragon user profile settings a couple months. nothing.
- Restored User Profiles. Nothing.
- Changed the accuracy of the microphone to Most accurate. nothing.
- Changed the USB microphone settings that come nativily with Windows. no fix
I have seen that people have had similar issues in the past. However mine is more specific with the troubleshooting steps already taken.
Can anyone help? Do you have this issue as well?

Hi there,
Has anyone encountered this issue before and knows how to fix it?
The "open new tab"/"close tab" commands have mysteriously suddenly stopped working for me with Dragon Home 13 on Windows 10. The commands still work in Mozilla Firefox.
Here is what I am using:
Windows 10 64-bit
Dragon Home 13
Google Chrome version 54
Dragon Naturally Speaking extension for Google Chrome version 15 (and it is enabled)

Hi I recently bought Dragon Naturally speaking (DNS) 13 (premium edition) and soon going to get a PC laptop to use with it - any recommendations on what to get or AVOID? I'm considering getting this - LENOVO THINKPAD T440p i7 2.9Ghz 8GB 500GB DVD-RW 14″HD+ W8.1Pro http://www.nzpcclearance.co.nz/pr…/lenovo-thinkpad-t440p-i7/
If I do get this Laptop I will definitely be getting the Ram upgrade to 16GB and the 240GB SSD.
I've also been told that RAM is the most important factor for success with Dragon naturally speaking voice recognition
I wonder whether I should try get something with 32GB ram?
I'm probably going to get a yeti mic as well.
Any thoughts, opinions??

Hi all I installed dragon in a virtual machine running Windows 7. After I trained it, I tried using it. It did not work in several programs, such as command prompt. It did work in WordPad however. Is there a reason why DNS doesn't work with many apps? How to fix? On the Mac dragon works in all applications but I am transitioning to Windows. ThanksTopic by Ben Wilson
DNS 13 Professional inserts random double spaces within sentences whether or not I pause at that point. It also randomly adds extra periods at the end of sentences when I say period once. How can I keep this from occurring?

Hi
A client of mine has your software and had recently upgraded the firmware on a USB microphone and now he can't use it with the usual profile he uses. I don't seem to be able to do anything to change it or fix it, the names appear to be the same but the microphone button never goes clickable.
How can I correct this for him? It appears the program doesn't allow you to set microphones which seems like a massive limitation for a program designed to be used with microphones...

Hi having big problems trying to save my user file as it's always showing the message below every time. The problem's still there even after restarting, but have no idea how to reinstall again as I downloaded it from the Nuance website so no DVD....
Also I'm unable to exit from Dragon as the red icon keeps going back to green ?

I am using DNS 13 with Word 2016 and Windows 10. Receiving error dialog box "Dictation is not possible or is restricted for the current window due the Dragon Add-In for MS Word not being loaded." I checked the Word 2016 add-ins by going to File>Options>Add-Ins...appears to be loaded and active... DNS worked windows 8 a couple of days ago. Upgraded to Windows 10 and I received the preceding error message.
Please help.....need to get some work done.

I am a new user of Dragon. I have a new computer and have installed Office 2016 and Dragon 13. When I attempt to use Dragon in MS Word, it appears to try to be selecting something from a taskbar rather than recording my words in a blank open document. It also indicates a need for a driver. Are these two products ready to work together? Where do I find the driver referred to?

I am using Dragon 13 and it used to be that when I started talking in a text field inside an unsupported application, that the dictation box would be brought up automatically as stated in the user guide.
"Using Dictation Box in unsupported applications
The Dictation Box opens automatically if Dragon notices that you are trying to dictate in an
unsupported application or window within an unsupported application."
However, this feature has ceased to work, and I cannot figure out why. The dictation box will still pop up by saying show dictation box or manually bringing it up. The dictation box setting under tools > options > miscellaneous is checked as well. Any help is appreciated!

I have a problem with the latest version of DPI and my dictation sources in my main profile.
When I launched Dragon today I found the mic symbol greyed and deactivated as the dictation source menu item. When I check the profile (language German) I have four dictation sources in my profile, two of them available.
When I launch another profile (language English) everything seems to be OK.
So what is wrong with my main profile?

When I use CAP THAT on Word 2016, it doubles/adds to whatever character follows in the next word or punctuation.
For example, say: I wrote to the queen yesterday, becomes after using Cap that, I wrote to the Queen yyesterday.

I'm currently trying to download Dragon 12, and getting speeds not exceeding 25K/s (with no other great strain on the network). At this rate, it'll take around 100 hours to download it. I see this is not a new problem (http://nuance-community.custhelp.com/posts/ca95b0dfe5) - is there any chance of this being resolved any time soon? This is just unacceptably slow.

Following is my scenario I would like to achieve:
I create a custom command and give it a specific name which also becomes a voice call name for that particular custom command. Is there any way how, without creating a separate custom command, to assign additional names (and therefore corresponding voice call names) to that single custom command?
For example I create an outlook custom command "insert my signature" but I would like to trigger that custom command with voice commands such as "insert my signature", "insert signature", "insert PK signature", et cetera.
The reason for this is that just in case I forget the original command I have other options how to call the exactly same command. Basically the system becomes more natural without the need to replicate multiple times the same custom command but under different names.
I tried the Name Editor which inserts lists, but unless I did not get it, it does not seem to be what I am after.

Dear all,
just installed my nwe Sennheiser PC 36 Headset but is doesn´t work with Dragon Nat. 13.
The micor is liedted and can be selected. Even Mircofon testing works. But I can´t dictate anything.

I currently using use an evaluation issue of Windows 10 prior to the launch on July 29th. MS have automatically update reinstalled my operating system on my laptop and this seems to have changed the Machine Fingerprint profile. This has now locked me out and prevented reinstation on my laptop
The way MS will now deliver operating systems has now changed? the use of static operation systems, such as XP, 7 and 8 has now gone, So, how will this impact on the use of Machine Fingerprint by Nuanuse?
I will be grateful on any input on this matter,
